Apache Chief is an interesting entry into this wave of collectible minifigures. He’s one of the least interesting to open in the blind bags (feel for the hairpiece if you’re in need to finish your collection), and his figure is probably the most flawed you’ll find.

The long black hair piece with the red headband is new, but we’ve img_1895gotten it two times in a row from collectible minifigures. We also got it with Gong & Guitar Rocker (coltlnm17) from The LEGO Ninjago Movie Collectible Minifigures. As always, it’s nice to get a new piece more often, as it makes it easier and less expensive to collect.

The medium dark flesh minifigure head with the black and dark brown lines to make the firm or grim facial expression is nice to also get. It helps make for a diverse LEGO universe, and the face isn’t specific to the character where you could only use it with Apache Chief. You could easily use this minifigure head elsewhere if you wanted.

This reddish brown torso is far from perfect. The red printing of the belt comes all of the way down to the bottom of the torso. It is as flawless on the back as it is on the front. However, the red collar doesn’t quite make it all of the way to the top. img_1897Also, the print for the chest does not match the tone of the arms at all. The red print of the wrist bands are a nice touch, though.

The reddish brown hips and legs are well done. The print of the skin tone on the legs match that of the chest. And while the print on the hips exist, they don’t go all of the way to the top. They’re just creases though, so they really don’t have to either.

A 1×3 printed tile is included. The print is that of a photobooth strip. In movie, the character appears at the Justice League Anniversary Party. There was no photobooth in the Justice League Anniversary Party set (70919), and perhaps it should have been. But that could be easily made of one’s own creation if need be. And of course, the set comes with the 3×4 modified black tile with the yellow batsymbol print in relief.

Come back to The Big Kids Table later this evening for our look at Doctor Phosphorus! There’s only two more left in the series. We hope to see you then!
