They’re twins, so we thought about just copying and pasting the review of Jayna. However, they’re different, because one is a boy and the other is a girl. They can’t be identical. Plus, we’ve been excited to talk about one single element with this set.img_1910 So here’s what you would find inside Zan’s blind bag!

The black swept back hairpiece with the light flesh pointy ears is the same as with Jayna. The light flesh minifigure head is almost the same. It’s the same eyes and eyebrows. The dark flesh print for the cheekbones is longer, and placed just off from Jayna’s. And there’s a black line printed for a grimace with a dark flesh print for the chin underneath, instead of Jayna’s open mouthed smile with lips. There is no alternate printed face on the minifigure head.

Also, the dark purple cape-collar cloth is the same with both figures, as are the hips and legs assembly. You can read about them HERE if you so desire.

The torso is bananas with print. Yes, it’s obviously similar to Jayna’s. However, the emblem is a “Z” instead of a “J,” in yellow. There are dark purple img_1911lines printed for muscles for days on this figure. The dark purple belt that is also featured on the back is a nice contrast to the medium torso. The arms are dual molded medium lavender over dark purple.

The real reason why we’re writing this and you’re reading it is this, though:

It’s a bucket. The handle that has also been used as a kickstand for scooters is in dark bluish gray. The bucket itself is in light bluish gray. Big deal. But what they’ve started doing a few years ago was including a round 1×1 tile piece, usually in trans-light blue, to sit in the bucket to represent water. It’s a nice touch right? Well, for this set, they printed a frowny face in dark blue on that tile to represent Jayna in water-form. How cool is that? It’s the little things.

Come back soon. We’re finishing these things this week.

Wonder Twin Powers Activate! They made a quick appearance at the Justice League party when Batman wasn’t invited, so here we go!

The twins share the black hairpiece with pointy ears in light flesh, for those img_1908of you that wanted to MOC some Vulcans. That element is new in this series, and it sits on the light flesh minifigure head with exclusive printing. And all of that sits on the dark purple, pointed collar, made of the cape cloth reappears from the Alien Villainess (col128) from the eighth collectible minifigure series.

The medium lavender torso is nice, with gender specific printing and the “J” emblem printed on the chest. There’s also dark purple printing for her belt, that matches the dual-molded medium lavender and dark purple arms. The lines to specify gender and outline muscle is also in that dark purple. And the hips and dual-molded legs match, with black and gold printing to the edge of Jayna’s boots.

The minifigures for both twins pale in comparison to their accessories. The brother’s is more clever, whereas Jayna’s is far more in demand. Jayna comes with a yellow 2×2 tile printed with ‘Top 24 Party Songs!’ album cover, which is cool. However, you also get a 2×2 round tile in black, printed like a vinyl record, to coincide with the vinyl records from The Justice League Anniversary img_1909Party (70919) and The Joker Manor (70922). We really want all of those elements, and moreso, a bazillion copies of the element included with this minifigure.

You can send them to us at:

The printing on this LP is described as being in white. Perhaps it suffers the same printing as some recent minifigure heads. The black of the element seems to shine through, making the printing look more light gray.

Again, the twins are underwhelming. We want those records. Her brother’s accessory is awesome because it’s clever, but not really something you’ll be able to use anywhere else. And what insane person (besides us) is excited to get the Wonder Twins in their minifigure collection? Check back to learn about the nifty minifigure accessory next time, at The Big Kids Table.
